Traditional English Pub.
The pub dates from 1837/8 and is grade II listed. One story has it that the pub opened on the same day as Queen Victoria's accession to the throne on 20 June 1837, and it was reputedly visited by her after the opening of the rebuilt Paddington Station in 1854.
