8.9-acre park, constructed in 1992 by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).

Gunner’s Lake Local Park features a playground, a softball field with backstops for practice, and a soccer field. The soccer field is a permitted field, but is first-come, first-serve if not reserved. You can also enjoy a picnic at a covered picnic shelter at Gunner’s Lake Local Park.
