  • I've been here within the last week. It is said to be illegal to tresspass here. I don't believe in ghosts, but it is a scary place, especially with teens drinking and smoking there. There are several long, dark, tunnels, and if you go there, I would bring a flashlight and DON'T GO AT NIGHT. The grafitti on the crusher is innapropriate. Mtn. bikers have reported getting arrested by local police, and having to pay for fuel for the Cop's helicopter. I'm a kid, so I don't worry about getting arrested. I've never seen police there, but locals and police get tired of tresspassers littering, getting injured, and motor vehicles such as dirt bikes and ATV's. The history of this place is interesting, and I recommend you search for more info. Type in "split rock quarry" on Google, and pics and info will come up. MY ADVICE: EXPLORE BUT BE CAREFUL.
