(Former) Grumman Housing/School for American Employees (Esfahan)

During the buildup of the F-14 squadrons at Esfahan International Airport, this was one of two neighborhoods where the IIAF housed the employees of their American contractors, such as Grumman and Hughes Aircraft, as well as the small US MAAG detachment. Several homes were used by the American School of Isfahan as a neighborhood elementary school. Completed in 1976, the last American residents departed in February, 1979.
