The National Park Meotida is a member of Europarc Federation of National Parks. Situated in the southern corner of the Donetsk region, this institution has some of the rarest birds on the European continent. More than 250 birds breed in the Park.
The park is home to once-extinct Dalmatian Pelicans.

The National Park is located to the south of the Donetsk Region, close to the town of Yalta.
