Formerly very popular baths that have become derelict since they were closed. They included a marine bath, as well as several water slides. In early 2007, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council unveiled a redevelopment plan for the baths and the base of the East Pier. This would have included infilling a large part of Scotsman's Bay and a high-rise apartment block on the site of the derelict baths. Following popular opposition to this scheme, the County Council was forced to withdraw it.
