Dime BuildingThe Dime Building is one of Detroit's oldest skyscrapers. It was designed by Daniel Burnham and built as the home of the Dime Savings Bank. When it was completed in 1913, it displaced the nearby Ford Building as the tallest in the city. For many years, it was headquarters for Bank of the Commonwealth which merged with Comerica in the early 1980s.
