The University of St. Thomas (UST or St. Thomas) is a comprehensive liberals arts Catholic university located in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, Texas. Founded by by the Basilian Fathers in 1947, it is the only Catholic university in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

The university is named in honor of the Catholic philosopher and theologian Saint Thomas Aquinas. Originally consisting solely of the Link-Lee Mansion on the corner of Montrose Boulevard and West Alabama Street, the university has gradually expanded towards the south and west over the last 60 years, establishing itself as a notable landmark in Houston with over 15,000 graduates.
