Residence built c. 1928 for Genevieve Ludlow Griscom with seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, marble floors imported from the Vatican, gilded ceilings painted by artists employed by the Plaza Hotel, chandeliers from the Plaza Hotel, imported French walnut wood carvings, and six hand-carved fireplace mantles. Griscom was an avid member of the Outer Court of the Order of the Living Christ which strongly believed that if Jesus Christ were to return, he would return to this very home which influenced the design to be as opulent as possible. From 1928-1987, the home was left vacant and vandalized while owned by Manhattan College.

It was then finally occupied by the first time in its history by Sandra Galuten. It was on and off the market for many years before selling for around $15m in 2017.
