Machen Kangri (Maqên Gangri), popularly called Amnye Machen (or Anye Machin), is the highest peak of the mountain range named Amnye Machen range and located in Amdo , Tibet
.The Amnye Machen mountains belong to the Kunlun ri range, a major mountain system in Asia. The peak elevation is estimated to 20,610 feet (6,282 meters). It is ranked number 23 in height among the mountain peaks of Tibet.
