Famous hill station in J & K State and is situated on the bank of Lidder river.you can reach here just after crossing PEER PANJAL RANGE,where famous JAWAHAR TUNNEL is,have right turn, cross BERINAG,the origin of JHELUM RIVER, and you will find the famous PAHALGAM valley.This is the base camp for HOLY AMARNATH CAVE pilgrims and CHADDI YATRA crosses this town in the SRAVAN MASS of Hindu calender.

Best plase on earth to visit also called Paradise on earth .Can have hiking ,treeaking, River rafting, trout fishing etc It is also called valley of shepards. can get good and economical Hotels for stay as Central hotel main Bazzar, Pahalgam. Best food is avilable at LASA Resturant with choice of Indian, Kashmiri wazwan, Panjabi and Chineese dishes. Please do visit this paradise on earth. Thanks
