Peralta I Wind Farm is located in the Tacuarembó Department of Uruguay, about 100 km south of the city of Tacuarembó and 25 km north of the town of Paso de los Toros, on the northwest side of Route 5. Completed in 2014, it consists of 25 Gamesa G90/2000 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 50 MW.
This wind farm is sometimes also known at the Palmatir wind farm, or Palmatir Peralta I wind farm, after the developer Palmatir SA.
