USAF high-speed, high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft, which served as the operational prototype for the subsequent SR-71 Blackbird. This aircraft, serial number 60-6925, was the first production A-12 and the second of the type to fly. It is on long-term loan from the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
