277th Field Artillery Battery stationed here from sometime in late 1969 until 28 FEB 72. Prior to 1970, this was also known as FSB Claudette and was used by the 199th Light Infantry Brigade and the 82d Airborne. Also the 30th Bn 5th Rangers (ARVN Biet Dong Quan) were frequently stationed here.
