Placed here in 1835, it is considered the oldest fountain in Moscow. Originally called the Petrovskiy Fountain, now it is known by the name of its creater, Ivan Vitali. Under the basin of the fountain the sculpture arranged 4 nymphs representing poetry, tragedy, comedy and music.
