One of the largest churches in the world, and the 2nd largest Episcopal cathedral in the U.S. The cathedral's construction began in 1907 and was ongoing all the way up to 1990. It was designed by George Frederick Bodley and then Philip Hubert Frohman after Bodley had passed away. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his final Sunday sermon on March 31, 1968 from its famous Canterbury Pulpit which was brought overseas in the 1940's from England.

It is also the burial place of many famous Americans, including: President Woodrow Wilson, Admiral Thomas Dewey, Helen Keller, and Cordell Hull who served as FDR's Secretary of State.
