  • Inch Moine is one of the three islands known collectively as "The Narrows". Excellent sandy beaches facing south west and north east makes sure that there is always a sheltered mooring. An old ruined house among he pines at the west end was a great play area where you could climb the trees to get to the tops of the 2ft thick walls. I have many fond memories of the mooring at the west hook where boats would nose into the sandy shore, side by side and stay for the duration of the "Glasgow Fare" which was the traditional holiday period of the second two weeks in July.
