Alipur Chatha,his old name was(Akalgarh) is a town of Gujranwala District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 32°16'0N 73°49'0E with an altitude of 193 metres (636 feet).[1] The municipality was created in 1867 during colonial rule the town lay on the Wazirabad-Lyallpur branch of the North-Western Railway.
Ch Muhammad Aslam Tarar(bank manager)also lived in ALIPUR.he belong to "BAHRI TARAR"who 18km away at Qaderabad Road.

  • this is very beautiful city the the roads that link it to Hafizabad city are not very reliable but the senery at both side it breath taking there is a big canal across in the way from Hafizabad to Ali pur it is a beautiful canal and the fish farms came all in the way are also very beautiful

  • I belong to Syed family of Alipur Chatta. My grandfather Syed Alamdar Hussain established Imam Bargha Saddat that is still serving the Muslim community in a befitting manner. My father Syed Akhtar Abbas migrated to Lahore in early 60s. I am Syed Yawar Abbas, the 4th son of Syed Akhatr Abbas, who served in the Pakistan Air Force for 31 years and retired in 2010 as Air Commodore. I was awarded with Tamgha-a-Imtiaz (Military) in year 2000 and Sitara-a-Imtiaz (Miltary) in 2009. My eldest brother, Syed Abbas Qamar Zaidi (Gold Medalist) is a Textile Engineer by profession and is also an excellent poet. My 2nd brother Dr Syed Khawar Abbas is Phd and is settled in UK. My immediate elder brother Dr Syed Ghazanfar Abbas is also a Phd and is settled in Islamabad. My younger brother, Syed Ghayour Abbas is busy in private business in UK. My only sister Dr Zeba Abbas is a MBBS doctor in Lahore. She is married to Syed Jamil Abbas S/O Master Ali Naqi (who was also a resident of Alipur Chatta). Alipur Chatta means a lot to us. Presently my cousins more prominently, Syed Mustajab Hussain Zaidi resides in Alipur Chatta. God Bless all the residents of this Loving & Beautiful locality.
