Spider Valley

I think this is the Spider Valley as mentioned in many hunting tales of Kenneth Anderson. Note the stream flowing down to the Chinar river and the two mountain ranges on either side. Good that some forest seems to be still in place here. Happy nature watching.............

Sorry, no. The Spider Valley, as described by Kenneth Anderson, in his story 'A night in Spider Valley' narrated in his book 'Jungles Long Ago', is the valley 5 miles to the West. According to him, the valley extends southward for about 20 miles from the hamlet of Aiyur. In his tale 'The Novice of Manchi' narrated in the book 'The tiger roars', he states that the Spider valley runs from Aiyur to Kempekarai and the stream running along it flows southward to merge with Chinar river at a place called Sopathy.
