This could be tentative riverbed, which would have been abandoned by Krishna river long back. But still some identifying proofs can be located. This track is low in altitude than surrounding area and is bit marshy, always remains wet. Hence a local word for its identification is 'Panand'. During floods first this portion gets flooded and then water spreads to other areas. May be some thousand years back Krishnamai might have flowed through this and later abandoned it for some geological reasons. During that period Miraj Odha and Waddicha Odha might have merged with Krishna river separately at different points.
River Krishna is rarely(one exception is near Bhilawadi) exhibiting this feature in its journey upstream of its confluence with River Warna. After confluence with Warna it can be found at many places. On the other side Warna exhibits this feature at many places. Thus we can conclude that this effect is due to might of Warna's water.
Geologists can do R & D and throw more light on this.
