square, theatre, park, rock/pop music venue
Aurinkomäki, literally Sun Hill, is a green oasis right in the centre of the town. In summer this outdoor arena is the site of dance, song and music performances, and especially during the annual Garlic Festival and Circus Fair the rows of benches are packed with thousands of unhurried people enjoying the performances.
The main area holds places for roughly 300 people, but is not limited by that.
Aurinkomäki is orginally called Helleborgs hill as the Helleborg mansion used to be at the top of the hill. The Mansion also acted as the first church in Kerava, before the actual church was build
