Akruthi ( Moodabidri)

Residence of Dr. Krishna Mohan Prabhu, Dr. Radhika Prabhu & Neethi Prabhu. Built with Exposed Laterite Stones All around. This House is constucted so as to allow natural air, light, minimising the use of Electicity. The water from the roof of the house during monsoon is collected and used to recharge the nearby well water, thus recharging the ground water supply. The roof is made of Wood and tradtional clay baked Mangalore Tiles. No rinforced Concrete is used in the house thus keeping house cool in summer and warm during winter. The water heating for the house is also provided by environment friendly solar water heater.
