The Carr Building, named after longtime owner Robert E. Carr, was built in 1934 and remodeled in 1983, which is when it lost its original neo-classical appearance. In 2014, the building was purchased by the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) for its national headquarters and renovated, included a facade modernization.
