  • Well very happy and surprised to see Shriwardhan on wikimapia, and also proud to be an Indian and then Maharashtrian, and ofcourse being Shriwardhanwala, I work in Saudi and really miss my country and my village, and i am in touch back home on almost daily basis
  • Shriwardhan is a wel know Tourist Place. But hardly a good transport facility is available for Shriwardhan. If people arrange private transportation, then they may travel in easy, otherwise depending on S.T. services, we should have a good insurance policy for our time and travel? This is a S.T. (ST means State Transport)Stand (station). The S.T. is wel known for uncomfort, time killing, travel Transport arrangement? The station Building (Stand) it self is leaking during the rainy season. Why? Its common practice, to have this kind of facilities for the Public. Dogs, cats, and dust are easily availabe. Clean and higienic drinking water is not available. Like mostly S.T. Station's toilets, Shriwardhan S.T. Station's toilets are also not clean and unhigienic. S.T. Buses are mostly "Not clean", Noisy, Over loaded passengers (in the season). Always, there is a question, about bus maintenance? This message, I am typing with a positive intention, if some one reads it (but not policitians and S.T. officers), they can understand, what is Transporat facility in Shriwardhan region. How Shriwardhan will become to developing if the basic infrastructures (e.g. transporation, electricity, water and roads) are not available as needed. But we like to say that, this is birth place of "Peshwe", It was Baale killa of "Congress", It is now election won by "Shiva Sena" etc. Luckily, people of Shriwardhan Taluka, are peaceful and calm nature. And because of their calmness and peacefulness, they are been kept in this situation.
