This is the railway station of Haflong town. The old meter gauge rail line alignment has been changed during gauge conversion to B G. The old station was named as Lower Haflong. There was another station named as Hill Haflong. Both the old stations are non existent now. This BG station is named as New Haflong. This station building has been set up at an altitude of 436.30 metre above MSL. Short form NHLG.
