Wonderful old restaurant known for its Victorian decor and collection of antique dolls and baby carriages and other memorabilia. Great view of the Delaware River as you dine. Lower level was once used as a toll booth for people going over to Pennsylvania on the other side of this river.

  • I remember going here with my Grandmother and my family when I was a little girl in the mid 60's. We used to take Sunday drives and this was one of the places we went. We usually went in the spring and drove up Route 23 to Port Jervis. We would have lunch and look at all the antique dolls and then drive home. It was a beautiful drive through lots of farm country back then.
  • I visited this restaurant some time ago while on vacation from Europe. The food was very nice and pleasantly served and the decor was most unusual. A very pleasant experience.
  • We would go there in the 1960s with my family and any out of town visitors. The decor was wonderful and interesting, and although I loved the old dolls and carriages, I was amazed to see the sugar bowl--the sugar was not small, white granules, but larger and multi-colored!
  • Thanks for the wonderful memories from Flo Jean's. As counselors at Camp Talcott in 1945(!) this was our go to place. Have never forgotten the good times and food there. If it hasn't change since then please don't change it now. Myron Gananian, Menlo Park, CA
  • I went every year on Easter Sunday as a young child in the 160 ' s. I remember like it was yesterday. Very fond memories of all of the dolls carriages. Such a beautiful place. The food was really good also.
  • 1960s.
  • My grandparents lived in Port Jervis, and Flo-Jeans was THE PLACE TO GO for fine dining - wonderful childhood memories of the lovely decor and the fantastic food!
  • As a child we would go to Flo Jean's every Easter for dinner. My memories of the dolls ,carriages, and all the Easter decorations were unforgettable. There also was quite a spread of food. We came from Northern N.J. Such wonderful memories they could never be replaced. Best Easter Sundays ever till I grew up and had my children in Northern CA. We are in VA now. Wish I could have shared that experience with my children. I am greatful.to for my parents taking us there every year. Happy Easter Everyone.
  • I used to go to a bungalow colony, Glen Spey, for several summers. It was near Eldred, New York. A highlight was the times my mom and dad took me to Flo Jeans for dinner. I wish I had had the opportunity to take my own children and granddaughter there. Sad to hear it's closing! Barbara Taylor
  • I too have similar memories. We were in the area when driving up Route 23 from Westfield to my grandparent's house and their 50 acres in Cahoonzie (near Sparrow Bush) in the 1960's. I met the surviving sister at the restaurant about 1980 (I think Flo). Very nice lady.
