Originally, the name of the chapel is Notre-Dame-des-Carmes. It is a small rectangular construction in two pine cogs. Built in stones of the island, its plan is transformed into latin cross by the vice-chancellor Lagneux in 1834. Windows in full round arch splay to throw more light inside. On both sides of the north main entrance surrounded with a granite device, are two small niches which shelter the statues of saint Anne and saint Évêque or abbot. At the top of the pine cog, the pinnacle is a small rectangular construction in four bays surmounted by a pyramidal roof with cross.
