Khmer temple remains at Prasat Bei (previous name Ampil Rolum, and thus usually cited in the literature), probable location of the city of Bhavapura. The site is described as being a few km southwest of Stoung near RN 6, 30 km from Kompong Thom, and 35 km from Isanapura (Sambor Prei Kuk); the identification of the location was based on these criteria.
