Kashmir, the valley of natural beauty is famous not only for ice packed mountains, naturally lush green scenery and pure water flowing from the mountains, lakes and rivers, it is also a place where many religious scholars and spiritual leaders of Islam came to preach the lesson of faith, humanity and peace. Such leaders lived here to guide Muslims to the path of justice, true belief and to bring education & discipline to the lives of thousands.
One such spiritual leader, is Hazrat Khwaja Pir Ghulam Mohiuddin Ghaznavi, whose mazaar is in Darbar-e-Aaliyah Nerian Sharif.
Khwaja Ghaznavi Sahib was born in Gardez, Afghanistan in 1902. He was one of the sons of the famous Islamic leader Khwaja Pir Mohammed Akber Khan. Khwaja Ghaznavi Sahib took his basic Islamic education from highly reputed scholars of the region and soon he was renowned in Tafseer-e-Quran and Ahadees-e-Mubarakah .
Nerian Sharif is located in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Nerian Sharif is hill station. Mohi-ud-Din Islamic University is located at Nerian Sharif.
