4-story Anglo-Italianate residential building completed in 1853 as one of a row of townhouses. It was built together with, and to a matching design, as the three townhouses to the east, but has been restored separately. It is clad in brownstone, two bays wide, with a stoop on the right side, and a gated areaway fronting an English basement on the left. The stoop leads to a segmental-arched doorway, to the left of which is a segmental-arched windows, both with keystones. A band course, continued from the adjoining facades, sets off the upper floors. These also have segmental-arched windows, in full surrounds with bracketed sills and cornices, growing progressively shorter at each floor. The building retains its black metal, bracketed and dentiled roof cornice.
