  • fine pint of guinness, but bar staff not too bright.
  • The locals could be selfish and try to warn you off Tom's, but the truth is that it's one of the last great real pubs left in Limerick. And the bar staff are great, don't listen to that eejit.
  • Mick is talking rubbish with regard to the staff (I'm NOT one of them). One of the truely genuine old-style pubs in the country. Atreasure.
  • This Bar is a legend! When run by Tom Collins and Mrs C herself it was the best pub in Ireland. And what a loyal croud. Still family run, and beautiful inside. Genuinely old and yes, a few of the staff are a bit dim!
  • I hate this...
  • You're obviously not from Limerick Joanna, it's the only decent pub left in the place. Ken MacMahon (a regular), Papua New Guinea.
  • All the elements come together here. The staff are absolutley brilliant (after living in N. America where bar staff can only take two orders at a time, makes me appreciate them all the more!), the regulars are some of the most genuine, welcoming and interesting characters you'll meet, the Guinness AND Beamish are top quality (worldwide!!) and the atmosphere (still no TVs, great for a chat) are bang-on! 20/10 in my book! Regular for life
