"Aerodrome Winter", by German engineer Gustav Winter, who built the track about 1 km further south of the newer airport. The Winter airfield is now barely visible in aerial photos and has direction 05/23
Use of this airstrip was prohibited from ca. 1950.
It remained clearly visible in aerial photography until at least 1973 but began to fade out in photos taken about 10 years later.
