The Grove Chelsea Apartments

154-foot (at the roof line), 16-story modernist residential building completed in 1987 as the Chelsea Court. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs, it is clad in red brick, with narrow concrete band courses across each floor. There are 15 bays across the main facade, some slightly recessed or projected forward. Most of the triple- and double-casement windows have air conditioning vents below them. There are small setback above the 14th floor at the outer bays. In the center of the facade is a very tall mechanical penthouse topped by a chimney and water tower.

The building contains 200 apartment units, with a parking garage accessed from a 1-story extension at the west end of the building. It was recently renamed The Grove.
