Postex Cotton Mill (Old Mill Trade Days) (Post, Texas )

Postex Cotton Mill began production in 1913 employing 250 people. Over the next 70 plus years the textile manufacturer produced sheets, pillow cases, and other items made of cotton. In 1955 Burlington Industries bought Postex. Eight years after the mill stopped production in 1986, the site was transformed into a marketplace for the Old Mill Trade Days held on the first full weekend of the month.
