A huge development being undertaken which will take many years to complete. The aim is to provide a major gateway for western Makkah by constructing the new 4km long King Abdul Aziz Road and redeveloping the adjacent areas.
The project area will border the Umm Al Qura Road, the Al Zahra and Al Nuzha neighborhoods at the north, and the Al Tundobawi, Al Hindawiyyah and Al Rasaifah neighborhoods at the south. The West Gate Project will start at the 3rd Circle Road at the west and end at the Jabal Omar Project in the east.
