The Basilica of Saint Paschal (1540-92) was constructed during the second half of the XXth century on the ruins of the ancient temple, destroyed during the spanish civil war of 1936-39. It lodges the remains of the saint, and a notable sacred art collection of several epochs. It is a place of bound peregrination for the Spanish kings.
