The Bethel A.M.E. Church was a historic church in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1869 and added to the National Register in 1991. Bethel was Indianapolis's oldest African-American church. It has steadfastly served its community since before the Civil War. The church was founded in 1836 by a group of African-American Methodists. The congregation moved from the historic church in 2016 after an unsuccessful fundraising campaign to renovate the structure.
