Horse race and a rifle shooting competition was held at the Aman Chaman hill situated near Betma town.
This year, eighteen horses of Indore, Dhar, Khandwa, Jhabua and Khargone took part in the horse race. The race here also is very unique as the horses have to run uphill from the starting point which is situated at the point below from where the horses have to climb the steep hill while competing with other horses. Generally, only half of the horses are able to reach the finishing point situated on the top of the hill which is half a kilometer from the starting point. This year, only ten horses were able to reach the finishing point. The winner this year was Ajay Kachawa while Murli Patel and Monu Yadav were the first and second runner ups respectively.
Thirteen shooters took part in the rifle shooting competition, in which they had to shoot at the pitchers placed 300 meters away on the other hill. Surprisingly, only one shooter was able to hit the target, due to which the first and second runner up prizes in the shooting event remained unclaimed this year. Mahavir Singh was the winner of shooting competition.
