Located in the heart of Westwood Village, near the UCLA campus, Tanino Ristorante evokes feelings of Bella Italia inside and out with Mediterranean charm and authentic food that add vibrancy to its Village location and a touch of tradition to the emerging Westside culinary scene.

The Building was designed in 1929 by premiere architect Paul Revere Williams, the building resembles the elegant Pitti Palace in Florence. This charming and surprising building seems to have finally found its perfect tenant. The restaurant was opened in 1998 by Sicily-native chef Tanino Drago, who has created a true gem of a place to celebrate Italian cooking, eating and passion for life. Tanino Ristorante and Bar is flavored with the sights, tastes and smells that allow each guest to enjoy a little of Tanino's rich background. It's the only Italian restaurant in Los Angeles to be housed in a place so perfectly matched to its cuisine.

Mostly UCLA students and employees eat at this restaurant.
