Kodur(Konaseema of Rayalaseema)by Raghavendra Raju Dasaraju (Rly Kodur Town)


This place is famous for fruit orchards and is full of greenary and that is why it is called konaseema of rayalaseema. There is fruity research station just 2km from the town of kodur. There is also the world's largest barytes mine further down the same road near Mangampeta. This place is at the foot hills of Eastern ghats. This is a beautiful place to visit which is surrounded by mango gardens,banana and papaya plantations.

I was born and brought up here!

Wonderful place surrounded by beautiful green hills. It was famous in whole INDIA for mangos. And also famous now for lemons, papaya and banana. Every year in summer, mangos were exported to as far as Delhi.

My father, Sri Jaladanki Lakshmi Narayana Setty garu has a cloth store from 1960s in Old Bazaar or Potti Sree Ramulu street. It is very famous for best rates and reliable service. Please visit if you get a chance!
