Possibly the most beautiful park in the entire Northwest. An old, gasification refinery in a nature setting.

Great for families who like to fly kites.

  • If you can avoid the previously mention "Raves", it is a fantastic park for relaxation. Always a nice breeze and great views.
  • It should be mentioned that this is the site from which one of Seattle's two major 4th of July fireworks displays is launched. It's a madhouse here on the evening of the 4th, but well worth it. You can also find excellent viewing sites in nearby streets and parks. Years ago you used to be able to stand along the sidewalk of the nearby Aurora Bridge for excellent fireworks viewing. Sadly, someone in the nanny-state government decided that that was too dangerous! Ooh, glad they're lookin' out for us all the time! lol
  • Park setting was seen in the "Ten Things I Hate About You" movie during the paint ball scene.
  • When I was like 4 my mom and I would come here and I'd climb all over the cool painted pipes n' stuff under the roof there, it was endless fun. I still like to climb around on them whenever I come to visit my old neighborhood.
  • this place is like the perfect blend of nature and technology. thats the great thing about seattle.

  • I like biking from Marymoor Park all the way to here every so often. It's over 50 miles round trip.
