Gyaring Lake

Gyaring Lake is located at the upper reaches of the Yellow River. It is a large freshwater lake. The Tibetan word for the lake means “White Long Lake“ because the Yellow River, flowing into the Lake, makes the Lake look like a long gliding ribbon from afar. Together with Ngoring Lake it is referred to as 'twin sister' lakes of The Yellow River.
