Hamrin Dam

The dam was built during the years of 1976-1981 by Hydrogradnja construction company of Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina (former Yugoslavia). The dam is abt. 3 km long, made of gravel fill with clay core. The main purpose of the dam is flood control, protecting the downstream agricultural region, but there is also a small, 50 MW power plant attached to the spillway structure of the dam.
