was not excarvated up to the civil war, now as the whole ancient Palmyra, it fell victim to intensive cultural looting during the recent years, as satellite images prove. So, one will never know about the history of this part of ancient Tadmor (semitic: guardpost), when hellenistic culture was influencing the local semitic population very much. A tragedy.
