Active chemical weapons storage area

This is the only part of the Pueblo Depot where they still store chemical weapons. The rest of the base is no longer a restricted area, and the igloos are rented to the public for ultra-secure storage units.

These igloos contain 780,000 individual mustard gas shells, canisters and bombs. No nerve gas here. Note the enhanced security berm and active administration/security area just to the right of this block of igloos. It's basically a high security area within a low security area.

At some point they're going to build an incinerator (The Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant) on site, similar to what was done at JACADS, Aberdeen, etc.
