Village “Pendkhale”, a beautiful picturesque place surrounded by hills from all sides, is situated on both the banks of a small rivulet (called Paraya) which joins Muchkundi river on its way to flowing into Arabian Sea. It is easily accessed by tarred motorable road from Rajapur which is approximately 12 kilometers away by road. Though there are small shops in the village, people prefer to visit nearest Village Bhoo or Taluka place Rajapur for shopping due to very good frequency of S.T. Buses. At the centre place of the village there are three temples of Hindu deities. One is God Ishwar’s (God Shankar) temple, at the bottom of which is a small Houdh (Lake) having unending water source throughout the year even during the draught. Second is Goddess Jakadevi’s temple. And third and most popular is Godess Bhagavati’s (Godess Bhavani) temple, where big annual Jatra (fair) is held at the beginning of Pournima (full moon) day of month of Pausha. The border (Seema) of village Kalasavali is at such a height that it is easily visible from any corner of the village. Bhoo and Tervan are other nearest villages.
