Boinchigram a village of hooghly district.It is a very old and economically, cultued village.The population of Boinchigram is near about 11000 accordingt to the last census. Many person from this village became successful to make their steps internationally.The Zamindars(Big landlord) of this village war very charitable.The most popular among them is Biharilal Mukherjee.His name is taken eith the popular education reformer Bidyasagar.He set up the shool (now named after him Boinchi B.L.Mukherjee free Institution) and a hospital.The girls school was set up by Binapani Dan came from a zamindar family.The local library was also set up by a educational reformer Kasipoti.The village is full of natural beuty.

I dont know if there is any other place like this in West-Bengal.It is obscure and the people here are all freak all in their essentially individual ways.adyastotra,country liqour,cheap candies and medieval relics certifying a formidable cultural baggage ensures that your head is rolling by the time you had decided ihad had enough of this stud.The very air of this place is intoxicating.In the streets you will find people engrossed in discourses regarding potato prices,English football,medieval literature,political economy to grievances regarding neighbour's fencing --- take care or else you are gone.because once people visit this place they tend to come back for the umpteenth time and may land up being one of the esoteric catagories of boincheegram.the lunatic,the tipsy and the ghost.
