This used to be the best kept secret for locals. You could ski all day and never be crowded by others. As you can see, the water is an amazing emerald green color unlike all the other lakes in the area. Now in the summer, if you don,t get in the water by 10am, you will not find parking.

  • In the late 60s they constructed the current dam. There was an older and smaller dam here before. It is either underwater or destroyed.
