It is a small village. Most of the people are Kuiris. But there are a few families of Bengali origin living here for over two hundred years, just like a few similar families who live in nearby Bongawar village.

  • My elder sister still lives here. I used to visit her when I was working in Ranchi in the 1960s. I used to visit my aunt's family in Bongawar too at that time. The villages were very close by and I really loved to visit this area. It was really beautiful at that time before all these factories and other industrial things came nearby. The only industrial thing nearby at that time was the glass factory in Sandi.
  • I belong from Digwar. Now a days, this village is going advance. high school, Small markets, Road to connect Ramgarh and Ranchi, electricity. We can find now everything in this village. We dont need to go out side to take daily useses thing. I live in Delhi now. but i always miss Digwar, due to its beautifullness.
  • I am Niranjan belongs to Digwar village. I am a teacher and presently teaching in High School Digwar. This school is one of the important part of this village. Here more than 1000 students are studying, who belongs from nereby villages like Pochra, Sandi, Bongabar, Sewta, Hathmara, Karma etc. I love my village and all villagers very much.
