This may not officially be Sunrise point, but it does face East, so one can catch a lovely view of the sunrise from here. There is a paved road to descend into the tribal-dominated foothill regions. Check out, if it still exists, the 'Disha Chakra' carved into stone by an enthusiastic educationist. With the help of this chakra, one can keep track of the sun's yearly North-South movement. |
